playing at the park

While Marvin, Cindy and CieJae were here - we went to play at the park by our house, she mostly like watching the dogs play in the field next to the playground.

Finally caught her blowing kisses while playing at the park!! We were desperately trying to get her to say hieeee (her newest word), but all she would do is wave.

This is her play hat, it's actually the two halves to a shape sorter, but since she figured out it came apart, all it's been is a hat. It sometimes goes on others heads, but mostly hers, and often!!

crab dance

This is the "crab dance" from the Oregon Coast Aquarium, she loved dancing, and all of the attention she got doing it!! We even got the DVD and she does the same dance each time we play it. She figured out how to do this stomp dance about 2 weeks ago, it's great, but it was sad to see the booty shake dance go before we could get a video, maybe it will make a comeback. Enjoy.

Fun at the coast!!

Marvin, Cindy and CieJae came to visit this past week. On Friday we went to the coast. We went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Ainsleigh liked the fish and the crab dance video (a video clip of this is forthcoming - when I can upload it to google). We also went to the beach at Lincoln City, it was very windy and we all got sandy, but it was a very fun day.

Michelle learned how to sew while her mom was here. Her project was a new dress for Ainsleigh - it's super cute!!

While I was at work, Michelle, Dena, and Ainsleigh went to Multnomah Falls, it was a rather cold day, so Ains was bundled up - I just thought this was a hilarious picture of that.

Silver Falls with Dena

The week after Easter Dena (Michelle's mom) came to visit, we hiked around at Silver Falls State Park on Tuesday. It was beautiful, and Ainsleigh really enjoyed the ride. It was her first time in the back pack carrier!!

new food faces

Ainsleigh loves to eat - it's not uncommon for her to eat an adult size portion at one sitting, each new food usually means a new messy face. Here she's eating pickles for the first time, she loved them; drinking yogurt from a cup, actually much less messy than trying to feed it to her with a spoon, and her favorite, tuna helper - she eats more than any adult can of that stuff!!

Ainsleigh has always loved bath time, but the older she gets the more she likes it, and the less water in her bath tub at the end.

Finally Done

Finally after 5 weeks my 1989 Landcruiser is finally done. I replaced the automatic transmission with a new 5 speed and it makes all the difference in the world.

Twirling

Ainsleigh's latest talent is twirling - she does it until she's falling down from dizziness, then does it some more!!

Ainsleigh Running

Ainsleigh now loves to run towards you, then past you and see if you'll get her. She giggles just knowing you're anywhere near tickling her, and she has a very contagious laugh.

Gators Win it All!!!!

Don't Bet Against The Gators This Year!!

Be sure to tune in on Monday at 9:21 pm EST as the Florida Gators take on the Ohio State Buckeyes for the NCAA Basketball Championship. Boy am I glad I went to a school that doesn't consistently disappoint me.

Tulip Festival

Yesterday we went to the tulip festival in Woodburn. Ainsleigh loved touching all of the flowers, and walking around on her own. But, with the uneven ground she fell quite a few times and got a bit dirty. Oh well, she had fun and so did we.

1st Birthday Bash

For Ainsleigh's 1st Birthday some family came and she got her very own birthday cake, she liked it to say the least. Needless to say, we went from eating cake straight to the bath tub. I'm still not sure if she like the cake or all of the attention more.
