We had a few fun days playing with these tubes, lots of ring toss, Ains being what we tossed the rings onto. Either way, she laughed a lot, and loved being the center of attention, literally.

Lincoln City Sandcastle Competition
A few weeks ago Michelle, Ains, and I went to the Lincoln City Sandcastle Competition. the castles were cool, the sand was warm, and it was so much fun to see how Ains reacted to it. Mostly she swam in the sand, but I think she just loved feeling something deifferent on her skin.

swimming
Ainsleigh has a little pool, just her size. She loves to play in it. If there's water, she's in it, sometimes in her bathing suit, sometimes in her clothes.

socks
Ainsleigh has started helping with getting dressed a lot, but she's still mastering the art of sock application...

corn on the 4th of July
We went to some friends house for the 4th and took corn, Ainsleigh decided she wanted to sample it 1st. She loved it, and did amazingly well considering she only had one real tooth at the time.

talking to mommy
I call home every day from work, and Ainsleigh loved to talk to me on the phone. I have to be sure to finish my conversation with whomever else i'm talking to first, or she won't let them have the phone back. She says , "hi mommy" quite often, tells me about what she's eaten (cracker, cheese, etc), and sometimes about what she's done. Mostly it's just her language, but she talks a lot and DOES NOT like to be interrupted. She usually talks for 5-10 minutes, then eventually hangs up on me, sometimes with a bye first, sometimes she's just playing with the "talk" button.

Playing with bubbles
At my work picnic, there were lots of people to pay attention to Ainsleigh, food, and most importantly bubbles to play with - she loved it!!
